Using the SkillsMatch Collection Applet

Read this before using the SkillsMatch Collection Applet for the first time

The applet has been designed to be intuitive, and is well-sequenced and easy to complete. We estimate that a recruitment consultant will take approximately 5 minutes to complete the form.

Some general information for the use of the applet is:

  • all fields are mandatory. If you attempt to leave any fields empty, or try to move to the next page, a message will appear beside the empty field to remind you to fill in the appropriate data.
  • drop down menus are used throughout to speed up the time required to complete the applet.

Take these steps each time you complete the applet

  1. When you have filled a position for a client, open the applet from the IT2 website www.it2.com.au and click on the Advertisers tab, then the SkillsMatch - National ICT Skills Monitoring System logo. Enter in your unique ITCRA Membership number and password and click on 'Login'. This will take you to the welcome page of the applet.
  2. Click on 'New' to take you to the first page of the applet headed 'Position Information' and start entering in your placement data in the relevant fields. Once complete, click on 'Candidate' at the top of the screen, complete all the fields before you click on 'Insert'. If you make a mistake or wish to change any data you have entered, simply select the placement from the list on the welcome page, make the required changes then click on the 'Update' button on the bottom of the 'Candidate' page.
  3. To enter another placement, simply click on 'New' and repeat steps 1 and 2 above.
  4. When you have completed the applet, simply click on the 'Logout' button at the top of the welcome page.
